Christmas Vacation in Breckenridge

Now that all the Thanksgiving leftovers are gone and the mountains are covered in snow it’s that time of the year when the stockings get hung with care and the Christmas trees get decorated with memories of old. And slowly but surely presents, carefully wrapped, start to appear underneath that perfect tree.

For many families, Christmas would not be complete without a trip to the mountains, a few turns down the hill and a stroll down the beautifully lit Main Street of Breckenridge. In many cases, all the boys (young and old), are out playing in the snow while all the girls find themselves shopping for that next cute outfit or for those warm fuzzy snow boots.

And after a long day of skiing or shopping nothing is more inviting to the muscles than a nice peaceful long soak in a hot tub underneath the starry night sky.

"Night Time View of Breckenridge"

With so many options for Breckenridge lodging the only thing that could make this peaceful night, not so peaceful, is if you find yourself sharing that hot tub with five inebriated and loud strangers.

To keep something like this from happening to you, look into staying at someplace else other than the crowded resort condos. Many people don’t realize that there are a large number of property management companies out there that will rent you a house for the weekend, or the week, that will fit everyone in your group for about the same price (if not cheaper) per person than staying in a condo. So maybe this Christmas is the year when you get your own private house and bring not only the family but some of your friends as well and ensure that your soak in the hot tub is indeed peaceful!
